This page describes the procedures used to successfully install the local router and secure its network.

==== Material ====
You will need the following material:
  * A router
  * A SIM card
  * A smartphone

== Router setup ==

  - Check the sim card’s phone number: 
    - Insert it in a phone.
    - For VODACOM, call //*106#//.
    - Select //1//.
    - Write it down.
  - Insert the sim card in the router.
  - Turn on the router.
  - Connect your computer to the router (using an ethernet cable or Wi-Fi).
  - Identify the router IP address, you can find it at the bottom of the router or you can find it using your computer by looking to the network properties.
  - Write the IP address in the web browser url space and press //Enter//.
  - Change the router admin password, Strong password is highly recommended: \\ username: //admin// \\ password: //Check with an administrator to have access to the password.//
  - Update the wireless ID and its password to: \\ ssid: //Dynamic Study// \\ password: //Check with an administrator to have access to the password.//
  - Save the configuration.
  - Check that you have access to the internet.
  - Buy the internet bundle. This can be done by inserting the SIM card into a smartphone, and adding funds to the SIM card. You will then be able to buy the internet bundle.
