medAL-creator Health Facility Setup
Purpose and Scope
In this page, you will learn how to perform the basic setup of a Health Facility in medAL-data.
Prerequisite
You should have setup a medAL-data server. Checkout this page if needed.
Material
- A PC with a browser installed.
- An internet connection .
- medAL-creator user with Deployment Manager.
Health Facility Setup
To setup a health facility
- Open your browser and navigate to:
https://medalc.unisante.ch/health_facilities
Click on the “Add” button on the top left of the screen Fill in all the necessary information
Architecture: - Standalone: The tablets will work by themselves and send data directly to MainData - Client Server: The localData IP will need to be filled in so the tablets will connect to it to retrieve and send data
You can set here the PIN code that the tablets will ask for when opening Medal-R (Medal-R will not be usable unless you enter this PIN) Once filled, scroll down, and add the Medical Staff by pressing the green “Add” button Fill the First Name / Last Name / Role of the Staff Then press the blue “Save” button at the bottom right
Setup Algorithm Once saved, click on the “Show” button next to the newly create Facility Scroll down to the “Accesses” part Click on the dropdown list and select the latest algorithm: “ePCOT+_DYN_TZ_VX.X” and click “Add”
Re-Edit Health Facility If you want to edit it after you saved it, go to: https://medalc.unisante.ch/health_facilities And click on “Edit” next to your facility
**If you change the health facility of a tablet, you must clear the data on the app first.
